Jaguar owners, where do you take your car for a proper oil change that won't cost a fortune?
I'm due for a service on my F-Pace and I'm trying to decide between the dealership and an independent specialist. The dealer service packages are pretty steep, with comprehensive plans starting from around AED 18,000 for multiple services , and while they use genuine parts, I'm just not sure I can justify that cost for routine maintenance. I've heard that the extreme heat and dust here can degrade oil faster, with some specialists recommending changes every 10,000 km or six months rather than the standard interval . A friend mentioned a few independent workshops in the city that use genuine Jaguar filters and manufacturer-approved synthetic oils but charge significantly less than the dealer . I'm basically looking for a place that offers a genuine Jaguar oil change in Abu Dhabi with a bit of attention to detail, maybe a thorough engine inspection alongside the service . Has anyone here switched from the dealer to a good independent specialist and been happy with the quality? I'd really appreciate some honest recommendations before I book anything in.
