Is digital fax worth switching to?

Our office still relies on paper fax machines. Some coworkers think switching to digital fax isn’t necessary. Has anyone actually benefited from making the change?

We switched about a year ago, and honestly it made everyday work much smoother. Staff could send and receive documents directly from their computers, and security improved because everything was encrypted and logged. That helped us understand the benefits and choose the right approach without overcomplicating the transition.
