VW Touareg brake pads – need reliable experts in Dubai

VW Touareg brake pads need reliable experts in Dubai

I've got a 2016 Touareg and the front brakes started grinding last week, so I'm trying to find a shop that won't mess up the electronic parking brake or use cheap pads that'll fade on the highway. I've heard mixed things about some garages here, so I'm really looking for Reliable Volkswagen Brake Pad Experts Dubai who actually know how to handle the bigger VW models and can reset the service light properly. Has anyone had a good experience with a specific place that uses OEM or high quality aftermarket pads and doesn't charge dealer prices? I don't mind paying a bit extra for good work, just don't want to end up with squeaky brakes or a warning light that won't go away. Appreciate any recommendations.

Grinding means the pads are likely down to the backing plate, so get it in this week and don't wait for the perfect shop. Driving on metal-on-metal chews through the rotors fast, and then a pads job becomes a pads and discs job. Better to pay a bit extra now than double later.

Went through this on a 2014 Touareg. The fronts are a normal fix, it's the rear electronic parking brake you want to ask about, since the shop needs to put it in service mode with a proper scan tool. Ask them straight if they've done a Touareg or Q7 before, because they share the platform.

Honestly I wouldn't pick a shop off a list of recommendations alone. Ask for the pad brand in writing, and I'd want ATE, Textar, or Brembo, not a no-name box. If they can't tell you what's going on the car before the job starts, walk.

For the warning light, the wear sensor has to be replaced on the worn axle, otherwise it stays lit regardless of the reset. Fit new sensors, then clear the brake pad service message through the diagnostic tool, not by pulling a fuse. Also get the rotor thickness measured, since grinding usually takes them below minimum.

Is it grinding all the time or only when you press the pedal, and does the steering wheel shake under braking? Also, what's the km on the car, and has anyone looked at the discs yet? That tells you whether it's just pads or the whole front axle.
